Cage Warriors 104 Weigh-In Results

Many of the biggest fighting names in Wales and across Europe met in Cardiff today to weigh in for Cage Warriors 104, the biggest MMA event Welsh history.
In the main event, world bantamweight champion and Welsh national hero Jack Shore will take on Scottish challenger Scott Malone. Both men made championship weight successfully.

Respect was mutual as both men stepped to the scales, but the flags draped across their shoulders acted as a reminder of the scale of this bout. For Shore (133.9 lbs), a win will keep his unbeaten streak intact and see him defend his belt or the first time on the biggest night of MMA in his country’s history. For Malone (134.6 lbs), a chance to launch his name into the spotlight and to win a world title for Scotland in front of the fans who have travelled nearly four hundred miles to support him.

In the co-main event, Welsh welterweight Aaron Khalid (170.9 lbs) takes on 26-fight veteran Tom Watson (168.9 lbs), who makes his Cage Warriors debut after a 7-fight run with the UFC. Both men have promised the best version of themselves we’ve ever seen, and a co-main event to remember tomorrow night.

Elsewhere on the main card, another unbeaten Welshman, Mason Jones (154.7 lbs), takes on Donovan Desmae from Belgium, and Jamie Richardson (170.4 lbs) comes up against Phil Wells (168.8 lbs) in a re-match after their last fight at CW99.

Opening up the main card is Cory McKenna (115.9 lbs), who returns to Wales after a tough fight camp at Team Alpha Male in California under the watchful eye of UFC legend Urijah Faber. She faces Sweden’s Fannie Redman (115.3 lbs), another exciting female prospect – don’t blink for this one!

On the pro prelims, look out for appearances from Wales’ own Josh Reed, Kris Edwards and Cage Warriors Academy Grand Prix winner Oban Elliott.

As well as an incredible card, ticket holders at the Viola Arena can also attend CW104’s Fan Meet & Greet, with UFC legend Dan Hardy, former Cage Warriors flyweight champion and now UFC star Molly McCann and current featherweight champion Dean Trueman.

Doors at the Viola Arena open at 4PM. Tickets are still available HERE.

For those watching from home, the main card will be broadcast from 9PM on UFC Fight Pass for subscribers. The pro prelims will also air on Fight Pass from 7PM, but will be free for all including non-subscribers.
