Tysie Gallagher Signs With Most Valuable Promotions
Tysie Gallagher has become the latest fighter to join the Most Valuable Promotions revolution of women’s boxing. The 27-year-old British and Commonwealth super-bantamweight champion has long gone under the radar. Signing with MVP is exactly what her career needs.

The former world title challenger is on a four-fight winning streak since losing to Segolene Lefebvre in 2023. Gallagher challenged Lefebvre for her WBO world super-bantamweight title and lost by a majority decision in a fight that could easily have gone her way. But Gallagher has rebounded with wins over the likes of Stevi Levy, Tori-Ellis Willets and Ellie Hellewell.
Despite those wins and having the British and Commonwealth baubles, Gallagher has quite rightly complained that the phone just didn’t ring with the major fights her talents deserve. But her career should now get a seismic boost as a result of today’s announcement. Something which Gallagher acknowledges.
“Signing a multi-year deal with Most Valuable Promotions is a huge moment in my career, and I want to thank Nakisa Bidarian, Jake Paul, and Mike Leanardi for this opportunity,” Gallagher said in the press release to announce her hook-up with Jake Paul and his Most Valuable Promotions. “I’m excited to represent Britain on the global stage and become world champion!”
The press release also included glowing praise from MVP. “Few fighters have done more to push British women’s boxing forward than Tysie Gallagher, a fighter who has consistently proven herself against top competition and built one of the strongest resumes in the country,” said Nakisa Bidarian and Jake Paul, co-founders of Most Valuable Promotions. “From becoming the first-ever female British super bantamweight champion to earning top-five world rankings and challenging for a world title, she has demonstrated the skill, toughness, and determination that embody everything MVP looks for in its athletes. As we continue to strengthen MVPW’s global roster and deepen our roster within the 122lb division, we’re excited to welcome another elite UK fighter and provide the platform for Tysie to pursue her world title ambitions.”
Gallagher should have already fought on an MVP card, but a shoulder injury ruled her out of her place on the London card in April. MVP return to UK soil in August on a card headlined by the big world super-welterweight unification showdown between Mikaela Mayer and Chantelle Cameron. Gallagher will surely be part of that Birmingham show.
Ellie Scotney recently vacated her undisputed world super-bantamweight titles, and with Gallagher carrying a number five ranking with the IBF, she will undoubtedly be fighting for one of the vacant world titles sooner rather than later.
