Jade Pearce: “I’m learning the pro game on the go and enjoying every moment of it.”

It will be her first rematch in the professional ranks. But it is one that will give Jade Pearce an opportunity to win her first pro title. Next month in Middlesbrough, Pearce will once again fight Kirsty Hill, but the second fight will have the vacant Commonwealth super-featherweight title on the line. “It will be a good fight,” Pearce told FightPost. “I’m excited to get that 10-round fight.”

Pearce outpointed Hill over six rounds in November. A 59-55 scorecard got Pearce her third win. A victory over Linzi Buczynskyj last month improved Pearce’s record to 4-0, and she sees the rematch with the former Commonwealth champion as an important next step in her career. “I think it will put me in good standing for the rest of the year and put me in the world rankings.”

2026 promises to be a pivotal year in the career of the former amateur star. A year that Pearce wants to be moved into even bigger fights. “I’d love to be in a position where I’m climbing those world rankings and hopefully fighting for more titles,” Pearce says of what she wants out of this year.

The 29-year-old turned professional last year, and after four fights, her career is progressing quite nicely. Pearce is pleased with her progress. “It’s been a good year to say the least. I’m happy with the fact I’ve managed to have four outings so far in my first year, and I’m excited to see what’s to come. I’m learning the pro game on the go and enjoying every moment of it.”
