Fury vs Whyte: Fighter Predictions

After a peculiar build-up, to say the least, the big fight is finally here. On Saturday night, the reigning WBC world heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, will defend his title at the iconic Wembley Stadium against his mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte. The event will take place live on BT Sport Box Office.

Whyte has kept a very low profile since the fight was announced and it has very much been ‘The Gypsy King Show’ up until fight week. The fighters have since come head-to-head at both the press conference and at the weigh-in, of which both were each very amicable affairs.  

Unbeaten in 32 fights as a professional, with victories against the likes of Deontay Wilder, Wladimir Klitschko and Derek Chisora, Fury is most certainly the bookies’ favourite.  

As fight week has progressed, a large number of fans who were initially backing Fury have now concluded that Saturday night is all about ‘Team Bodysnatcher,’ commenting that Whyte has come across as the more relaxed of the two, with Fury appearing slightly uncomfortable.
