WBM and Neilson Boxing’s next Fight Town show to be televised live on BoxNation

WBM and Neilson Boxing have announced they are set to have their events broadcast after partnering with BoxNation.

The partnership had their first event at York Hall earlier this month, which saw a card full of competitive contests including debutants, domestic clashes and entertaining main events such as Jack McGann v John Brennan

Following the success of that show, the duo’s next fight night, sponsored by UBU Hub, on Friday 22nd April is now set to be broadcast live on BoxNation, with Premier Sports and Free Sports showing the main event live.

BoxNation and Premier Sports now come free to, Sky Sports, BT Sport and EE customers, with content being shown live on the BT Sport app, as well as through the Free Sport TV channel, available on Freeview.

Ashley Sexton (17-2-2) returns to the ring to face Sabelo Ngebinyana (13-5) for the IBF
International Bantamweight Championship as main event, while Somerset’s Dean Dodge (9-1-1) will contest for the Southern Area title against Watford’s former Commonwealth and WBC International champion, Reece Belotti (14-5).

Elsewhere the card also features Qaisie Khademi (8-1-1), Nathan Mizon (4-0), Harley Benn (8-1), Billy Underwood (4-0), who takes on Tommy Jacobs (2-0), Chris Onwueghusi (1-0) as well as debutants Kerim Agius and Beau Reynolds-Wallduck.

Alfie Warren, of Warren Boxing Management said: “We’ve started a prolific partnership by adding a broadcaster.

“After the success of our last show we are now in a positon to broadcast our card on April 22nd, which looks like a barnstormer of a small hall show.

“We have a new beginning with this being our first live event and we plan on building on our success to date to continue to deliver quality events.”

The show on Friday 22nd April is just one of the events pencilled in for Neilson Boxing and Warren Boxing Management at York Hall this year, after the two organisations began working together in 2021.

Promoter, Mark Neilson, says April is turning out to be a landmark month for Neilson Boxing as he continues to expand in the sport.

“We’ve made a really fast start to 2022, we’ve already have two shows under our belts including our first ever at York Hall,” he added.

“Now we are heading back to York Hall but this time our show will be televised, which shows how seriously we are taking it this year.

“Not only do we have these shows with Alfie but we also have events dotted across the south this year and we will be adding more London locations to our diary, it’s exciting.”
