Everlast, the brand of choice for generations of world champion athletes, today proudly welcomes Dave Coldwell to the team, along with two of his highly-rated fighters, Jordan Gill and Hopey Price.

The move sees Coldwell signed as an elite trainer, with his gym kitted out in Everlast apparel, while Gill and Price join as Everlast’s latest brand partners.

Coldwell is regarded as one of the best coaches in the world, having become a world-title winning trainer when in the corner of Tony Bellew, while also training a number of extremely talented fighters during his career. His current stable of boxers now includes Gill and Price, who are seen as two of the best prospects in all of British boxing, with the duo expected to have very bright futures.

Gill is the current WBA International featherweight champion and is ranked as the number four featherweight in the world by the WBA, and number 13 by the IBF. He has also won the Commonwealth featherweight title during his career, and at just 26-years-old looks to be destined for huge success. Nicknamed ‘The Thrill,’ Gill’s fights always provide non-stop entertainment, as seen in his fantastic contests with Reece Bellotti, Ryan Doyle and Cesar Juarez. Hailing from Cambridgeshire, Gill has won 26 of his 27 professional fights, meaning he has one of the best current records in all of the UK.

Price is also touted for massive things in the paid ranks, winning all four of his fights since making his debut in 2019, with the most recent of those coming in February when the 21-year-old defeated Daniel Mendoza. He has already been part of some of the biggest events in recent memory, having competed on the Anthony Joshua vs. Andy Ruiz undercard in Saudi Arabia, along with huge events that have involved the likes of Josh Warrington, Anthony Crolla and Tasha Jonas. Price’s professional career has continued where his amateur career left off, with the Leeds fighter previously winning Gold at the Olympic Youth Games in Buenos Aires, going alongside his two European Championships and seven National Titles.

Coldwell, Gill and Price join Everlast’s existing stable of elite athletes including Josh Taylor, Conor Benn, Lee McGregor, Liam Smith, Craig Richards, Ramla Ali and Natasha Jonas. Together, the #TeamEverlast fighters seek to inspire the fight in us all.

In signing their long-term partnership with the premier fight sports and fitness brand, the athletes will use Everlast equipment and wear the new Greatness sportswear range. Battle-tested in one of the toughest athletic environments, Everlast products have been imagined by a hundred years in the gym, designed and engineered to empower your best self.

Commenting on the partnership, Coldwell said: “I’ve been in boxing for over 30yrs now, and during all that time Everlast has been the choice of champions. To be a part of a legendary brand as Everlast, the most historic brand in boxing, is such an honour for me. I’m immensely proud to be announced as an Everlast ambassador and even more excited to have my two hugely talented young boxers Jordan Gill and Hopey Price as part of the Everlast team also.”

Gill said: “I’m very honoured to be teaming up with a brand so big and as historic as Everlast. I’m looking forward to a great journey ahead with a fantastic team behind me.”

Price said: “I’m extremely happy to be linked with such a prestigious brand that has stood the test of time in boxing and guarantees quality.”

Chris Zoller, Everlast’s VP of Marketing and Product Development, added: “We are honoured to announce this deal to bring Dave Coldwell, Jordan Gill and Hopey Price to Team Everlast. Dave’s stable is one of the best in the country, and we are proud to now be working together.”

“Jordan and Hopey are widely-regarded as two of the best talents in the UK, and they display everything that we look for in an athlete. We are confident that they can have long and successful careers, and we are delighted to be part of their journeys.”

Born from champions and carefully crafted over its 100-year history, Everlast is present at every level of sport and fitness, seeking to support the individual spirit that drives your journey to find your greatness within.
