Dave Coldwell Eager to Get Raza Hamza Into Title Contention
Dave Coldwell’s management stable has been bolstered with the signing of Raza Hamza. The Birmingham featherweight has put pen to paper with Coldwell and is hoping that his new manager can deliver big opportunities for him. Coldwell has long been an admirer of Hamza and is looking forward to watching his new man perform.
“Raza is a fighter with a ton of potential,” buzzed Coldwell. “I’ve known about him for quite a while from being involved on the circuit and he’s impressed me. He’s a fighter who has done everything asked of him so far and he’s desperate to push on and make a name for himself. He’s a hungry fighter and I’ll be doing all I can to try and deliver for him.”
Coldwell added, “The plan for Raza is to move him into title contention. I have full confidence that he can operate at a much higher level than he’s used to and now I have to get him there. Leigh Wood, another one of my fighters, is British champion and when he moves on in the near future, I’d like Raza to step up and become British champion.”
