Karl Keller Takes Over The Reins Of MTK MMA

MTK Global is delighted to announce that Karl Keller has signed a 10-year licensing agreement to run MTK MMA.

The move puts respected mixed martial arts figure Keller in full control of the day-to-day operations of the company as well as the long-term strategic plan to grow the brand.

Keller has over 15 years experience as a martial arts and combat sports trainer, and has worked with some of the biggest names in the sport across the UFC, Bellator and Strikeforce, many of whom he has also managed.

He was born in Michigan, USA but has spent the past eight years living in Dubai, making him one of the most recognisable faces in the business of combat sports in the Middle East.

His contacts in the world of MMA stretch much further than that though, and his many years of competing in MMA, BJJ, Muay Thai and Submission Grappling afford him the ability to offer an insight approach to the athletes he has worked with.

He also holds a Bachelors Degree in Entrepreneurship and General Business Administration from Central Michigan University, and now has the mission to grow the MTK MMA business into the powerhouse it can be.

Already boasting 185 MMA fighters from over 44 countries across the globe who compete in the likes of Bellator, Brave, UAE Warriors, KSW, and of course UFC, Keller is on a mission to attract the most elite fighters in the sport, adding to the already global stable.

Keller said: “I could not be more excited to have taken over the franchise, MTK MMA is now 100% my world. We have some big signings on the way and some game changing news in the pipeline.

“For me, bottom line this role is about the fighters. These men and woman are professional athletes who put literally every ounce of their physical and mental attributes on the line for the world to witness. The scrutiny and pressure faced by MMA athletes is unimaginable to the average person and these often overlooked variables need the be taken into consideration when being compensated for their sacrifice.

“We have the opportunity to get them what they rightfully deserve and that is my focus for the business. I have simply punched in, and I’m not punching out.”

MTK Global CEO Bob Yalen added: “Karl is the perfect person to ensure the continued success of the MTK MMA brand. Karl’s success as a trainer of athletes gives him a unique feel for the sacrifices and dedication these athletes have to endure, and now his business acumen will see them through to success outside the combat arena. MTK MMA could not be in better hands moving forward.”
