UFC 251: Usman Shows Dominance

It was somewhat predictable, and Kamaru Usman will likely not care about the boring tag. Usman utilised his strengths to thoroughly dominate Jorge Masvidal. Maybe Usman does need to show a little more, but it is winning that counts, and his future opponents will need to find a way to nullify what Usman does best.

In the co-main, Max Holloway can count himself more than a shade unlucky to be once again a UFC champion. This observer had Alexander Volkanovski losing 48-47 in a enthralling UFC bantamweight title fight.

Jose Aldo showed flashes of the old brilliance, but maybe predictably faded late, and took far too many punches before it was finally waved off.

For me, Rose Namajunas took a deserved win in her rematch with Jessica Andrade.
