The FightPost World Heavyweight Rankings

The FightPost World Heavyweight Rankings

Around 6 months have elapsed since our last FightPost world heavyweight rankings. The division has most certainly changed in that time, Anthony Joshua got his revenge over Andy Ruiz Jr, Oleksandr Usyk finally made his heavyweight debut and is now ranked at number 6.

Tyson Fury retains his top position, but the gap has narrowed between him and Deontay Wilder, and Joshua is now within touching distance of the top two places after his impressive showing in Saudi Arabia.

Ruiz has dropped from number 3 to number 7 but is still ranked well clear of the only other fighter to beat him, Joseph Parker.

Alexander Povetkin and Michael Hunter who recently fought to a draw on the Ruiz/Joshua bill are ranked within one point of each other. Kubrat Pulev who looks like being next for Joshua is ranked a lowly 11th despite being the mandatory IBF challenger.
