The former Team Alpha MMA trainee then returned from the small screen with a highlight reel switch-kick knockout of ‘Rowdy’ Bec Rawlings.
It’s a return to native roots for the exciting challenger Ribas, who’s star rocketed considerably after her three round affair and victory over the previously mentioned Dern. The Minas Gerais native made a successful Octagon bow in June this year, grabbing a rear-naked choke finish over Emily Whitmire, and with her victory over Dern, moved to 7-1 as a professional.
