Taking to his official Twitter account on Thursday evening, Till, who has already challenged Cuban freestyle-wrestler, Yoel Romero to a meeting, issued a come and get it plea to former champion Whittaker.
@darrentill2 – “Let’s fight at @UFC London then @robwhittakermma? #YouAreNotReady”
Three hours after the initial offering, Till returned after posting two GIFs relating to perennial middleweight contender Romero.
The promotion are expected to return to London in the opening quarter of next year, with Till eager to feature in the headlining spot once more, or even sooner if Whittaker can accomodate.
@darrentill2 – “I’m ready to fight now to be honest. F**k injuries, f**k time off, f**k it all. When are you ready @robwhittakermma? Need to know basis…”
Australian technician Whittaker, suffered his first defeat at middleweight at UFC 243 recently, as he dropped the middleweight championship to Israel ‘The Last Stylebender’ via a second round knockout.
Adesanya has spoke of his intentions to face the previously mentioned Romero in his first title defence, as the middleweight division continues to heat up, particularly with the rise of Jared ‘The Killa Gorilla’ Cannonier and now, the addition of Till.
