Cleiton “Predator” Vows to Make Champ Luan “Miau” Cry in Pain at BRAVE 25
Lightweight title challenger Cleiton “Predator” hasn’t earned his monicker by taking his opponents lightly. And the trend continues as he looks ahead to his first title fight when he takes on fellow Brazilian Luan “Miau” Santiago at BRAVE 25, set for Belo Horizonte, Brazil, on August 30th.
Cleiton has vowed to beat Luan badly and wants to make the reigning, defending BRAVE Combat Federation world champion cry after their bout, which will serve as the main event of BRAVE CF’s much-anticipated return to Brazil.
“My goal at BRAVE CF is to snatch the belt away from “Miau”. I don’t want to just beat him. I want to make him cry in pain when we fight. The goal is to beat him up badly and stake my claim as the best Lightweight in the BRAVE roster”, said a confident Cleiton.
With a 14-2 record and half of his professional wins coming by way of KO, “Predator” knows the dangers of a fight against a fellow top striker, but is confident in his own abilities to perform in front of his home fans. A native of Belo Horizonte, he will have his family and friends in attendance on fight night.
“This is the time for me to really make my family and friends proud. They were unsure of my profession, but I proved them wrong when I signed for BRAVE and even though, they were against me fighting professionally, they have always supported my choices. They realized I have what it takes to fight for a global promotion, and BRAVE has been a blessing in my life. My victory will be dedicated to them, for their support and for realizing my potential”, commented Silva, who has gone back and forth with Luan over social media with photoshopped pictures and a lot of trash talk.
BRAVE 25 will have 10 bouts, with eight weight-classes represented, as the cream of the crop of Brazilian fighters will be in action at fight night, alongside some of the biggest international names in the promotion’s roster.
