James Hawley Sends Warning to Older Stars
James Hawley has promised to show the older generation of boxers just how it is done when he returns to the ring at York Hall on Friday – live on iFL TV.
Rising star Hawley (2-0) is just 20-years-old, but he is confident that his inexperience won’t be a problem as he looks to progress through the ranks during his career.
Hawley said: “A lot of people may say I’m too young and stupid for turning professional, but this young boy will show the old men how it’s done. We’re going to climb to the top.
“It’s good to be fighting on iFL TV again because I love the pressure of when everyone is watching me. When I’m in the gym and nobody is watching me, sometimes I’m terrible, but on the big stage I always shine.
“This is my third professional fight now and I’m always constantly training as hard as I can for every fight. I’m excited for this fight on Friday and I can’t wait to return.”
It’s a packed bill at York Hall live on iFL TV on Friday, with the main event seeing Siar Ozgul challenging Sam Antwi for the Southern Area title.
There is also a lengthy undercard full of stars including the likes of Chantelle Cameron, Viktor Kotochigov, Dan Azeez, Steven Ward, and many more.
