David Price Wins By DQ in Liverpool
Any boxer that dares to enter a ring deserves full respect, but there are exceptions, tonight in Liverpool we witnessed such a case.
Kash Ali acted disgracefully, cowardly even, in losing to David Price in 5 rounds of their heavyweight clash.
Ali bit Price on the body when they tumbled to the floor in the 5th round, and quite rightfully was thrown out. Ali was hurt and whether he was looking for a way out or not, he certainly found one.
Price is never far away from drama or controversy, and tonight was no different.
It wasn’t the explosive affair we thought, and Price struggled to land cleanly against a spoiling opponent.
Price looked as though he was fading in that last round, until he landed a decent body shot which was the beginning of the end. Ali then seemed to unravel both physically and mentally.
Ali bit Price twice in the fight and clearly deserves a lengthy suspension, whatever the reason there is no place for that in boxing.
