FightPost Prediction League: Errol Spence Jr vs Mikey Garcia

By Josh Wooler

This Saturday night, The AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas will host the most exciting contest of the year as Mikey Garcia bids to win a title in a fifth weight category when he takes on Errol Spence Jr for the Texan’s IBF welterweight crown.

Both fighters enter the contest undefeated and have impressed boxing fans and pundits alike throughout their careers so far, recording key wins against the likes of Kell Brook and Adrien Broner.

The major talking point in the build up has been the weight. Spence has always been a large welterweight and many are predicting that he will step up to 154 following the fight with Garcia who, by contrast, fought at lightweight in his last outing.

The size factor may have influenced the thought process of the FightPost team, with many expecting Spence to be a step too far for Garcia, although there are still some who think he can pull it off.
