Tommy Frank’s Big Title Chance

Tommy Frank vs Luke Wilton

Tommy Frank’s Big Title Chance

Tommy Frank’s beloved Sheffield United are currently riding high as they aim for a return to the top-tier of English football.

But like the Blades, Frank faces a tough test of his credentials this weekend. United face Leeds United on Saturday, and Frank gets his toughest test so far in his unbeaten career when he challenges for the vacant Commonwealth super flyweight title tonight at the Ponds Forge in Sheffield.

Frank unbeaten in 9 fights takes on the experienced Luke Wilton for the vacant strap.

Wilton has previously challenged for the British and Commonwealth titles and the Belfast fighter poses a real test for Frank tonight.

Wilton (20-5-1) has mixed in higher class including losing fights with the likes of Charlie Edwards and Lee Haskins, Wilton went the distance with Edwards in 2016.

With only 1 stoppage so far in his 9 fights, Frank will probably have to go the distance for the win, and that to me is the likely outcome.

After 12 good rounds Frank will have his hand raised and the Sheffield fighter will have another belt to go with the Central Area one he already has.
