Craig White Resigns with Cage Warriors

By Dylan Jones

Today Cage Warriors announced on twitter that Craig ‘The Thundercat’ White (14-9) has resigned with the UK promotion.

After signing with the UFC in May of 2018, White went to lose his first & only 2 UFC bouts, the first coming at UFC Fight Night 130 where he suffered a KO loss to #11 ranked welterweight Neil Magny.

His second loss came to UFC veteran & former title contender Diego Sanchez, in a dominant showing where Sanchez won via unanimous decision.

It was announced earlier today that White will be fighting at CW 102 in early March, his opponent is yet to be announced. The event takes place March 2nd at the Indigo at the 02 in London, England

On this card we will also see the likes of ex UFC fighter John Maguire, Sam Creasey, Jai Herbert & more.

White hopes to re-enter the title picture after previously leaving the organisation when he was supposedly next in line for a title shot, after going on a 4 fight win streak in which he finished each fight, just like all 14 of his wins. White hopes to maintain his 100% finish rate in London.
