UFC Fight Night Moncton: Kieran’s Top Tips

By Kieran Cobley

UFC Fight Night Moncton takes place on Saturday, so I’m back with my betting tips for this weekends fights, following last weeks tips coming in.

This week I’m tipping a treble again, with my first selection being Chris Fishgold, who makes his UFC debut.

Fishgold comes to the UFC with a fierce reputation, having relinquished the Cage Warriors lightweight title to make the jump.

The Liverpool fighter is known for his submissions game, and he will take on Calvin Kattar.

Fishgold is on a seven fight win streak coming in, and with odds of him winning outright at 5/2, he could be a danger for the bookies this weekend.

My second pick is Michael Johnson who takes on Artem Lobov.

Lobov is coming off two losses heading into this clash, and that isn’t going to change against a dangerous Johnson.

The bookies are also taking Johnson this fight, with odds of 1/6 on him winning outright.

My third and final pick is for Anthony “Lionheart” Smith to win by knockout in the main event against Volkan Oezdemir.

Smith has been on absolute tear this year, knocking out Rashad Evans and Shogun Rua and whilst Evans and Shogun are over the hill, it is still nonetheless impressive.

While Oezdemir is a threat, I think Smith will overcome him with his devasting strikes, and I’m backing him to win via KO/TKO at odds of 21/10.

So my bet is a treble on:

Chris Fishgold outright 5/2
Michael Johnson outright 1/6
Anthony Smith by KO/TKO 21/10

The total odds of this bet are 11.66/1, and a £20 stake will land you £253.17 (including stake).

Those are my betting picks for Saturday, let me know yours by tweeting me @Cobleyreporting.
