Why UFC 225 is the best fight card 2018.
By: Eduardo Ramirez

It is no secret that UFC 225’s main card contains some of the most talent filled fighters on the current roster.
Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker (20-4) and Yoel Romero (13-2) are set to face off once again, this time for the undisputed UFC Middleweight Championship, and a shot to solidify their spot as the best 185 fighter on the planet.
While the main card is probably the most stacked card of the year so far, also featuring the Interim Welterweight Title bout between Rafael Dos Anjos (28-9) vs the outspoken and unapologetic Colby Covington (13-1), the undercard in itself is something to be very excited about.

The UFC 225 Prelims and Fight Pass Prelims will showcase phenomenal matchups such as:
Alistair Overeem (43-16) vs Curtis Blaydes (9-1)
Claudia Gadelha (15-3) vs Carla Esparza (14-4)
Ricardo Lamas (18-6) vs Mirsad Bektic (12-1)
Not only does the Prelims contain possibly the best heavyweight striker of all time in Alistair Overeem, but top Women’s Strawweight contenders Gadelha & Esparza. Not to mention the Fight Pass Prelims on which top Flyweights Joseph Benavidez (25-4) and Sergio Pettis (16-3) are set to face off, with a possible title opportunity waiting for the winner.
UFC 225 has something for every fan, hardcore or casual, and this weekend’s phenomenal card will be a hard act to follow.
