Khan Wants Brook:
Judging from comments made in an interview with Sky Sports, Amir Khan has made a fight with domestic rival Kell Brook his priority.
“I want to fight again in September, and I want to come back with a big bang again,” Khan exclusively told Sky Sports.
“I’ve had my time off. I was out of the ring for two years, and I’ve come back the way that everyone wanted to see me come back. It’s time for me to get another fight in, and then let’s see where this goes.”
Khan recently made his comeback in Liverpool when he blew away Phil Lo Greco in 40 seconds and wants another fight in September before then finally facing off against Brook.

When he was asked about the Brook fight, he said: “Yes, I want to fight him, because I want to shut him up.
“I want to fight him, because a lot of people think I’m scared of him, and I want to fight him, because I want to show everyone that I’m the better fighter, and I’m the smarter fighter, and just a classier fighter.”
Khan added that he has no problem fighting on the same bill as his rival to help sell the fight, not that it really needs much of a sell.
Of course we have been here before, and I still think agreeing what weight they will fight at will be an issue, but at least with both now signed with Eddie Hearn it moves the fight closer than perhaps it’s ever been.
