Lilyella Craw Seaman Meets Zoe Hunte-Smith in April

Lilyella Craw-Seaman will look to extend her unbeaten record when she meets Zoe Hunte-Smith at the York Hall in London on April 25th.

Craw-Seaman ended a four-year ring hiatus last year when she beat Rajwant Kaur on points in November and followed that up with a six-round points victory over Ester Konecna in February to cement her return to the sport after a lengthy absence. That victory in Ipswich improved her record to 4-0, and she gets a nice little step-up next month against Zoe Hunte-Smith. A fight that could quite legitimately be labelled as a domestic title eliminator.

The London-born Hunte-Smith turned professional in 2019 and has amassed a more than respectable 5-3 record, and will enter the fight with plenty of ambition herself. Hunte-Smith is coming off a win over common opponent Rajwant Kaur and has only lost once in her last five fights.

The 33-year-old will represent the first time Craw-Seaman has fought anyone with a winning record, so for both, it represents a chance to make a statement for potential title challenges later this year.

Hannah Robinson and Charlie Sutton will soon clash for the vacant Commonwealth Silver super-lightweight title, and the winner of Craw-Seaman and Hunte-Smith could put themselves in line for a shot at the winner, potentially with a British title on the line.
