Hannah Robinson & Charlie Sutton Clash For The Commonwealth Silver Super-Lightweight Title
Hannah Robinson and Charlie Sutton will get their first taste of a title fight when they clash for the Commonwealth Silver super-lightweight belt on April 18th at the Vertu Motors Arena in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Robinson has always said that 2026 would be the year when the hunt for titles would begin, and she gets her wish for her first fight of the year. For Sutton, it’s a golden opportunity to change the trajectory of her career.
Sutton and Robinson are at a similar stage of their respective careers. Sutton has five wins in six fights. The experienced Vaida Masiokaite beat Sutton on points in 2023, but that early career defeat was followed by four straight wins. The 22-year-old outpointed Lenka Volejnikova last June over six rounds in her last outing.
“I’m absolutely buzzing about getting this fight,” Sutton told FightPost. “It’s what I have been waiting for. I can’t wait to get in there and show people who I am as a fighter. This could change my whole career. This could be the start of something amazing, and to get out there in the world and show people who I really am as a fighter and not as Aaron’s little sister, I am Charlie Sutton. I have nothing bad to say about Hannah. At the end of the day, she’s just another stepping stone that I have to get through.”
Hannah Robinson is a significant step-up in opposition for Sutton. The former two-time National amateur champion has impressed in her five fights in the pro ranks. Recent victories over Georgia Klein and Beccy Ferguson demonstrated her potential. The fight with Sutton is another little step forward for the 31-year-old, who has genuine aspirations of challenging for world titles in the coming years. Robinson will use her first ten-rounder as experience for what potentially lies ahead.
Both Hannah Robinson and Charlie Sutton deserve immense credit for rolling the dice when they both could have gone down a far safer route.
