Harli Whitwell Signs With Johnny Clark
The unbeaten super-featherweight prospect Harli Whitwell has made a significant move in her highly-promising career.
Whitwell has signed with Johnny Clark, and Clark will co-manage Whitwell with her father, Stephen Whitwell. The super-featherweight hopeful will continue to fight on Clark’s Top Tier shows, with the ultimate aim of getting Whitwell signed with one of the bigger promoters.
“Harli is a world champion in the making,” Clarke told me after the signing was officially announced on Saturday morning. “I believe Harli will go all the way. We have plans to build Harli on our Top Tier cards and then get her a promotional contract with one of the top boys.
“Harli has a great record already, so there is no need to rush her back. I’m glad the injuries and setbacks are happening early in her career. We want to build confidence in the injury and then take her to the next stage of her career.”

Clark told FightPost that he wants to be a part of the Harli Whitwell journey for the long term. Continuing to build his new signing on his ever-impressive home shows, until the likes of Matchroom, Queensberry, or a Boxxer come knocking. In truth, that just seems a matter of when and not if. The call will undoubtedly come.
Whitwell turned professional in 2022, and despite some niggling injuries that have restricted her progress somewhat, she has impressively built her resume to 5-0. FightPost gave Whitwell our Prospect of the Year honours for 2025, and the Cambridgeshire native has the look of a fighter who could go very far in her sport.
With a return to the ring tentatively planned for May, Harli Whitwell looks to be in the perfect position for the next stage of her career.
