Lauren Parker: “To earn a shot at the British Title against Emma Dolan on a Boxxer show feels like the ultimate reward for all my hard work and determination.”

“As the mandatory challenger for the British title, the opportunity to box at the Royal Albert Hall on the undercard of the highly-anticipated showdown between Lauren Price and Natasha Jonas would be an incredible experience.” The words of a former European Champion who could be next out in March on the latest Boxxer all-female show. In truth, Lauren Parker is desperate to feature on that showcase card.

Lauren Parker, who never lost her European title inside a boxing ring, is looking at securing an opportunity against the unbeaten Emma Dolan on March 7th at the Royal Albert Hall in London. FightPost understands that a fight between Dolan and Parker is of interest to all parties.

Like many fighters in the female ranks, Parker has endured a beyond-frustrating year. Two relatively low-key fights in 2024 aren’t what Parker would have hoped for after winning the European super-flyweight title last December against the tough Italian Giuseppina Di Stefano. A hard-earned win that promised more of the same.

But Parker (9-1-1) didn’t box again for six months and only returned after her fight in June earlier this month. Parker did a number on Kira Carter, stopping her opponent in three rounds.

“My journey as a boxer has been full of ups and downs, and I’ve had to create my own opportunities along the way,” Parker says of the frustrations many a fighter has to face away from the bright lights. But a potential fight with the unbeaten Dolan live on Sky Sports would make all her sacrifices worthwhile.

“To earn a shot at the British title on a Boxxer show against Emma Dolan feels like the ultimate reward for all my hard work and determination. It would undoubtedly rank as one of my greatest achievements to date.

“I would be facing Emma Dolan, who, like me, has faced her share of challenges and has often been overlooked despite her accomplishments. I believe she, too, deserves this platform to showcase her talent. A fight between us would undoubtedly deliver fireworks. We’ve both been under the radar for too long, and it’s time for a bigger audience to witness what we’re capable of achieving in the ring.

“I live and breathe this sport and know I’ll be a tough challenge for anyone in my weight class. Working with my coach, Paul Webber has completely transformed my mindset. I know what I’m capable of, and I’m confident I can secure the win and bring the British title back to Letchworth, Hertfordshire. I’m excited for the challenge ahead and ready to give it everything I’ve got.”

A fight between Emma Dolan and Lauren Parker has the potential to be the fight of the night. An easy fight to make with both fighters more than keen to have their next fights at the iconic Royal Albert Hall. All it needs is for the powers that be to sanction it and make it official. If the fight gets made, it would be a nice way to open the main card.
