Oasis: A New Beginning
There have been many false dawns. Many would have given up hope that they would ever see the two Gallagher brothers on a stage together again. But this coming Tuesday morning, the rumours of Oasis getting back together will almost certainly be confirmed.
When Noel Gallagher walked out of Oasis in 2009, it looked like the final act of a band that defined a generation. The forever feuding brothers had fuelled the rumours many times of an imminent split. But somehow, the band had remained together, if not in total harmony, despite the constant media speculation surrounding their often toxic relationship. But that backstage row in Paris was seemingly the final nail in the coffin of not only Oasis but their personal relationship also. Two brothers permanently at war. There seemed no way back.
But after years of being apart both professionally and personally, Oasis look to have found a new beginning. Rumours have been rife in recent times, and on Sunday night, all relevant parties are promising a big announcement on Tuesday morning.
Almost certainly Tuesday will see the big reunion being announced with multiple dates at Wembley Stadium, Heaton Park, and a possible headline gig at Glastonbury set to form part of the big reveal on Tuesday morning.
