Hassan Azim Improves To 6-0 In London

Hassan Azim is a fighter in many ways who gets lost in the mix somewhat. In his own gym and even more, in his own family.

Azim struggles for the same headlines that stablemates Caroline Dubois, Adam Azim, and others do. A never-ending production line of talent that his trainer Shane McGuigan has at his disposal, and that includes of course, his younger brother, who many claim to be the future of British boxing, reduces the attention that the older Azim should perhaps have.

Hassan had his sixth professional outing as a professional at the Wembley Arena in London and bludgeoned Abdallah Luanja to defeat in two rounds to send a little reminder that he deserves a little attention of his own.

From the opening seconds, Azim fought as though he had a point to prove landing his right hand on Luanja almost on the bell, a little reminder of what Lloyd Honeyghan did to Johnny Bumphus all those years ago. Azim opened the undercard proper in front of a few die-hards who left the temptations of Wembley Way while daylight was still to be had to witness the early minutes of action on a night Boxxer showcase their future stars.

Azim was relentless and eventually forced the stoppage in the 2nd round to extend his winning run to six. The welterweight prospect is only 22, and learning his trade away from the spotlight might be of great benefit to him. Azim has time, potential, and in the right stable and promotion that will allow his talents to flourish.
