LINN SANDSTROM TO MAKE HER U.K. DEBUT FIGHTING FOR THE WBA INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE

WBC Australasia and WBA Asia Champion Linn Sandstrom is expected to make her U.K. debut on October 29 at York Hall, London.

The Brazilian born, Swedish raised Australian fighter has expressed her “tunnel vision” as she gets ready to fight Serbian boxer Sara Marjanovic for the WBA Intercontinental Title in the super flyweight division.

Since her first pro fight in late 2020/early 2021, Sandstrom has already found a way to prove herself in the ring, training upward of 15 times per week at Bondi Boxing Club to ensure she is at the peak of her performance every time she steps out.

Of the 9 pro boxing bouts, Linn has won unanimously 6 times, including the WBA Asia Title and WBC Australasia Title. The fight in London marks the first of many opportunities arising for the new talent under the guidance of boxing coach Tony Del Vecchio, having recently signed to Golden Robot Global Management (GRGM)  in collaboration with manager Jonny Stofko.

Upon signing with GRGM Sandstrom expressed her desires to elevate to the next level, saying “I trained side by side with world champions and famous world renowned trainers who told me they truly believe that I can make it to the top and make something of myself in this sport. This has really lit a big fire in my belly and I will do everything in my power to make it a reality.”

The WBA Intercontinental Title will be live on Intu Boxing, YouTube and Facebook October 29.
