Jędrzejczyk vs Waterson Set For October?

Former UFC strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrejczyk will take on Michelle Waterson in the headliner at UFC Fight Night on October 12, according to multiple outlets.
The fight has not yet been announced by the UFC, but ESPN’s Brett Okamoto first reported that the pair had verbally agreed to headline the card, which has no location confirmed as of yet.
Jedrejczyk (15-3) will look to get back on the straight and narrow, having tasted defeat in three of her last four outings, including back-to-back losses against Rose Namajunas, and more recently a unanimous decision loss to Valentina Shevchenko.
Waterson (17-6) conversely, is in the best form of her career, winning each of her last three with wins over Karolina Kowalkievicz, Felice Herrig and Cortney Casey.
One more win might see The Karate Hottie earn a title shot, but will likely face her toughest test to date against the technical and once dominant Jedrejczyk.
