Ken Shamrock was the first King of Pancrase, one of the early UFC’s most important promotional pillars and a former WWE superstar who squared off with the likes of Shawn Michaels, the Undertaker and the Rock. He’s written two books and been featured in countless articles and documentaries. You may think you know all there is to know about Ken and his legendary Lion’s Den.
But his true story has never been told—until now.
Working with Jonathan Snowden (author of Total MMA and The MMA Encyclopedia), Ken has decided to truly open up about his life for the first time. Shamrock provided complete access, not just in the form of more than 100 hours of interviews, but to his complete inner circle. The result is a book that explores what it’s really like to be an MMA and pro wrestling superstar, the sex, drugs and rock-and-roll version that is almost always carefully scrubbed before any public consumption.
