TOP UFC PPV’S IN HISTORY

UFC 25th Anniversary

Today is the anniversary of the day it all began. In 1993 we saw the first ever UFC, and a lot has changed since the days of Royce Gracie and Ken Shamrock.

The human cock fighting references are gone and a sport with virtually no rules is transformed with unified rules and weight divisions, and now the sport is full of elite athletes competing for UFC gold.

The likes of Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor have taken the sport to unprecedented heights in the PPV market. One look at the Top PPV’s in UFC history tells you how important those 3 fighters have been.

But the UFC has suffered in recent years, with Lesnar and Rousey gone and McGregor on a hiatus. PPV buys are largely down and new stars are badly needed.

When the UFC get it right, for me it’s the greatest show on earth, and hopefully the next 25 years will see further growth and new stars emerge to match and exceed what came before.
