Under The Radar: Andre Arlovski vs Shamil Abdurakhimov

UFC Fight Night 136 marks the first ever UFC event taking place in Russia, it will be headlined by Heavyweight veterans Mark Hunt and Alekei Oleinik. That being said, our pick this week for the Under The Radar fight is one that has more implications that one would think.
Andre “The Pitbull” Arlovski (27-16-0) will be fighting Shamil Abdurakhimov (18-4-0) in what very well may be Arlovski’s final chance to creep back up into the upper echelon of the Heavyweight division with a victory. For Abdurakhimov, it is an opportunity to take out a legend of the sport and put his name in the rest of the division’s back pocket.
For both fighters, a victory here is essential to their careers in terms of relevance.
UFC Fight Night 136 will take place in Moscow, Russia on Saturday, September 15.
