Michael Chandler Staying With Bellator
Brett Okamoto is reporting that Michael Chandler is staying with Bellator and has signed a new multi-fight contract to remain with his long time employer.
Chandler (18-4) has been with Bellator since 2010 and is a former two-time Bellator lightweight champion and holds a number of records including most wins, most finishes and most title fights in the promotion.
Only recently Chandler has said he would love to do the trilogy fight with Eddie Alvarez who himself is now a free agent, but that fight would now have to be in Bellator and would need Alvarez to jump back into the Bellator fold to make that mouth watering 3rd fight a possibility.
