Tyson Fury Wins On Points

Francesco Pianeta certainly offered a lot more than Sefer Seferi and gave Tyson Fury 10 much needed rounds in his comeback.

Fury won by a shut-out 100-90 and for Fury the Pianeta fight served it’s purpose.

It resembled a sparring session but Fury badly needed the rounds, I still think his timing and his rhythm is a little out but tonight will help.

I feel Fury needs at least one more fight before facing someone like Deontay Wilder, against someone who is more competitive than Pianeta. We still haven’t seen Fury in a ‘proper’ fight on his comeback and as a result we still don’t know for sure where he stands with the likes of Wilder and Anthony Joshua.

The fight with Wilder will be announced next week, probably Las Vegas in November, and while I still have doubts about this version of Fury I wouldn’t totally rule out him beating Wilder.

Fury has the style to give anyone problems, but will November just come too soon for him, from what I saw tonight I would say yes
