Under The Radar: Cub Swanson vs Renato Moicano

UFC 227 will be headlined by Tj Dillishaw and Cody Garbrandt, running back their 2017 bantamweight title bout in which Tj reclaimed his belt. This week’s bout that is going ‘Under The Radar’ is seemingly talked about by almost nobody but is a fight with huge stakes for both competitors.
Cub Swanson vs Renato Moicano is a fight is major importance considering both men have been attempting to break into the Featherweight top 5.
Swanson (25-9) is coming off two consecutive losses to arguably the two best in the division, Frankie Edgar and Brian Ortega. With a loss to Moicano, Swanson would be facing the first ever 3 consecutive losses of his career.
Moicano (12-1) is coming off a win over Calvin Kattar back in April, his last and only professional loss coming from the previously mentioned Brian ‘T-City’ Ortega via submission. A win over Swanson would without a doubt be his biggest win to date.
UFC 227 will take place on Saturday, August 4, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
