Former UFC Lightweight Norman Parke signs with Bellator

Former UFC Lightweight contender ‘Stormin’ Norman Parke has agreed a multi-fight deal with Bellator to start a new path in his career.

Speaking to Norman earlier this week he told me that BAMMA where looking for his signature for their card in Dublin in December but it has been announced that the Northern-Irish man has signed an exclusive deal with Bellator.
Parke (25-6-1) has fought for ACB, BAMMA and Brave CF since his release from the UFC after his last appearance on the Anderson Silva Michael Bisping card in February 2016 at London’s O2 Arena.
Parke has fought Lukasz Chlewicki twice the KSW Lightweight Champion, headlined BAMMA 28 against Team Ryano Dublin-based fighter Paul Redmond and defeated Myles Price at last months Brave CF 13 in his home-town of Belfast. Bellator always seemed the likely next step for the Team Next Generation fighter who trains with former BAMMA Lightweight Champion Rhys McKee.
Stormin Norman has joined an already stacked Bellator Lightweight division with current champion Brent Primus, former champion and the face of Bellator Michael Chandler, former UFC fighter Benson Henderson and one of the Freire brothers Patricky Freire. It is unsure who his debut will be against but there is no doubt Parke will look to light up the Bellator Lightweight division.
