Trey Lippe-Morrison Moves To 15-0

Trey Lippe-Morrison Moves To 15-0:

Following in the footsteps of a famous father in boxing is nothing new, it’s not even new if you are a son of the late Tommy Morrison.

The older of the two boxing sons of the former WBO heavyweight champion the unbeaten heavyweight Trey Lippe-Morrison had his latest appearance overnight on the Gilberto Ramirez-Roamer Alexis-Angulo super-middleweight title undercard.

Byron Polley now 30-23-1, was dispatched in 3 rounds but even in remaining unbeaten Morrison didn’t impress. Polley now stopped for the 20th time in his journeyman career had his own albeit limited success in catching Morrison with several big punches in an otherwise totally one-sided contest.

Polley was dropped multiple times, and after the 5th knockdown the referee finally stopped the fight. Morrison looks far too easy to hit, his punches are delivered a little wide, and while being heavy-handed his work lacks the snap of his father.

Morrison has the name, is unbeaten and all his wins have been inside the distance and he will get the exposure, but with that exposure Morrison will sooner rather than later get exposed.
