Errol Spence Jr v Carlos Ocampo:
Last weekend the boxing world was focussed on the return of the Fury. The fight was certainly fast but wasn’t so much furious, as Tyson strolled his way to a return victory.
This weekend, the boxing world will turn its attention to the welterweight division as Errol Spence defends his IBF World title against Carlos Ocampo.

The title isn’t the only thing on the line, both fighters head into the contest boasting perfect 100% win records.
Spence has a perfect 23 from 23 with 20 inside the distance. His opponent, Ocampo, 22 wins from his 22 fights, 13 by way of knock out.
One of Spence’s 20 knockout’s came in his IBF title fight against Kell Brook, which helped build his reputation among UK fight fans.
It was quite a dominating performance from the American, the fight being stopped in the 11th round, despite a great effort of Kell Brook.
Meanwhile, even though Ocampo has an unbeaten record, he has never fought a top 15 fighter in the IBF’s rankings, which doesn’t help his chances according to many. Interestingly, this will be first time the Mexican had fought outside of his home country.
It’s not quite as lopsided as the 1/100 and 25/1 odds giving to Fury and Seferi respectively. But Spence is still a big favourite, “The Truth” is 1/50 while “Chema” is 14/1.
All signs seem to point in the direction of Spence retaining his world title in Dallas, you can watch the fight live via stream on the Showtime website from 2 am UK time.
