UFC 225: On Reflection
Despite all 5 fights on the main card going the distance, nobody can complain about the lack of action at UFC 225.
Robert Whittaker looked to be cruising to victory, but Romero despite his lack of work-rate has the sort of power, that he only has to touch people to put them to sleep, a rare gift indeed. Whittaker was touched in the 3rd and nearly stopped, but rallied to make that round one, one for the ages, a truly sensational round.
Whittaker was hurt several times after that, and won a deserved decision for me, I had it 48-47.

The crowd may have chanted ‘Colby sucks’ but sadly for them he doesn’t, at least inside the cage. His constant pressure was far too much for Dos Anjos. Tyron Woodley if he didn’t know before, he now knows what he is in for when they eventually meet. Make no mistake, whatever people think of his persona, he is legit, and will take some beating.

Holly Holm was just to rounded for Megan Anderson, who will come again for sure. Holm gave her best UFC performance since her big win over Ronda Rousey, a title shot awaits, but against who.
Tai Tuivasa along with Curtis Blaydes are adding much-needed life to the stale UFC heavyweight ranks, Blaydes especially is a real threat.

CM Punk has the heart, but not the skills to compete in the UFC, probably anywhere. Mike Jackson could have finished him, he should have finished him, both will not fight in the UFC again.
