The Fury is unleashed again this weekend.
By Ryan Flynn
The long-awaited and much-anticipated comeback fight of Tyson Fury is scheduled for this Saturday, June 9th.
The Gypsy King is quite a big fan favourite among boxing enthusiasts everywhere, and if you believed what you read on social media, you’d be made aware that “He’d knock Anthony Joshua out no bother”, I’m not sure if that’s an exact quote, I’m paraphrasing but you get the idea, internet boxing fans love Fury.
I’d go as far as saying boxing fans on social media have come to a unanimous decision with a verdict that the Gypsy King is the undisputed best in the world.
Why not though, this is the man that toppled the Wladimir Klitschko empire long before (518 days to be exact) Joshua even went toe to toe with the all time boxing great.

His comeback fight probably hasn’t been as well hyped as you’d expect for a former unified world champ, but his fight this weekend against Sefer Saferi will surely be the main interest of the boxing world this Saturday.
So who is Sefer Saferi? Well other than being a bit of a tongue twister for drunk lads everywhere, Saferi is a very accomplished boxer, albeit at more natural cruiserweight.

“The Real Deal” has fought a total of 24 fights, winning 23, 21 by way of knock out and only has the one defeat, which was suffered to Manuel Charr, the current WBA World Heavyweight Champion.
Despite the impressive record, and the title opportunity in the heavyweight division, Saferi has fought much of his career as a cruiserweight. Which has me immediately thinking about Tony Bellew.
We’ve seen the two talk about each other of late, and the fight would draw huge interest, especially domestically. So Saferi a former cruiserweight turned heavyweight would be the perfect fight for a Fury return, especially if the Bomber is in Tyson’s future plans.
If you’re wondering how the bookmakers currently have the fight going, Sky Bet have Fury as a massive 1/100 favourite, and Saferi as a 25/1 underdog.
Not many give The Real Deal a chance against The Gypsy King, but the main draw of this fight isn’t to see a closely competed contest, it’s to see the return of the former world champion, Tyson Fury after a long absence from the boxing ring.
The fight is on BT Sport, and ring walk is expected to be at around 10PM
The undercard for the fight is as follows;
Terry Flanagan v Maurice Hooker (vacant WBO super-lightweight world title)
Mark Heffron v Andrew Robinson (vacant WBC international middleweight world title)
James Metcalf v Jorge Fortea (vacant WBC international super welterweight world title)
Nathan Gorman v Sean Turner (10-round heavyweight contest)
Troy Williamson v Jack Flatley (eight-round middleweight contest)
