Golovkin Canelo Rematch Looks Off:
It could very well be a high stakes version of call my bluff, but the much anticipated rematch between Gennady Golovkin and Canelo Alvarez looks off.
Golovkin has reportedly turned down the terms that was agreed for their originally scheduled date in May, which was then cancelled due to Alvarez failing a drugs test.
A 65-35 split in favour of Alvarez was apparently agreed but now Golovkin wants an equal 50-50 split.
Sadly boxing politics look like preventing the rematch taking place, Golden Boy Promotions are now looking at other options for Alvarez.
