Nick Diaz Arrested

UFC star Nick Diaz has been arrested following an alleged domestic violence incident in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The official charges are felony domestic battery by strangulation and misdemeanor domestic battery.
12 units were dispatched to the scene at 7:20 pm Thursday evening where the alleged female victim was transported to the hospital and Nick Diaz was taken into custody.
Bail is set for Nick Diaz at $18,000, as of Saturday he has been released from custody.
The UFC has released an official statement
“UFC is aware of the recent arrest of middleweight athlete Nick Diaz. The organization does not tolerate domestic violence and requires all athletes to adhere to the UFC Fighter Conduct Policy. Every athlete is deserving of due process, and this situation, as with any official allegations, will be duly reviewed and thoroughly investigated by an independent party”
