Bellator 200

Bellator 200:

Bellator 200 as seems the normal practice these days in MMA, has had to amend it’s fight card in the final days leading up to the show.

Several fights have been lost this week including the proposed Main Event between Mirko Cro Cop and Roy Nelson in a battle of heavyweight veterans. Cro Cop has suffered multiple injuries to his left leg including: an ACL tear, a partial MCL tear, a meniscofemoral ligament (MFL) tear, an LCL sprain, and a median arcuate ligament (MAL) tear.

Despite efforts to secure a last minute opponent for Nelson, he is now officially off the card.

The Main Event is now the Bellator middleweight title fight between Gegard Mousasi and Rafael Carvalho, which most people will agree was the fight that should have been the headliner to start with.
