Alvarez enrolled in VADA Testing Programme
It might be a case of damage limitation but Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez has announced that he has now enrolled in a drug testing programme conducted by VADA, the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association.
Alvarez posted on social media:
“I want to let you know that I just signed the contract with VADA testing for year round testing.”
Whatever the truth is behind his recent woes, at least this is a step in the right direction.
Alvarez can resume his career in August and is expected to rematch Gennady Golovkin in September.
