BAMMA 35 : LAHORE PASCU-RESULTS
By Dan McConnell
LIVE FROM CAGESIDE REPORT:
Conor McGregor was in attendance for BAMMA 35 last night, in the 3 Arena Dublin supporting his team mates Ion Pascu and Kiefer Crosbie as well as the other nine SBG contingent throughout the card.

SBG’s Ion Pascu faced up against former BAMMA Welterweight champion Alex ‘Da Killa Kid’ Lohore in the main event of the evening. Pascu’s wrestling saw him dominate the former champ, who couldn’t get his strikes to land while on his feet or out wrestle Pascu when he was taken down. Pascu won the contest via unanimous decision on all three judges score-cards. The SBG fighter adds the former BAMMA Welterweight champion to his list of defeated fighters which includes current UFC fighter Jack Marshman. Pascu called for the title shot with current Welterweight champion Terry Brazier in his post-fight interview.

In the co-main event we saw McGregor come out and support team mate ‘Big Daddy’ Kiefer Crosbie who faced a tough opponent in Josh ‘The Power’ Plant. The crowd was buzzing when McGregor made his appearance and the crowd fully got behind the local fighter in Crosbie. Crosbie claimed a first round TKO victory in an absolute barn-burner. The Dubliner destroyed the Englishman Plant, engaging and dominating in the early engages. Plant shot for a takedown at the end of the first round in desperation, Kiefer threw nasty elbows to the side of Plants head and the contest was stopped by the referee.
The crowd and McGregor erupted in victory. Crosbie called for himself or SBG team mate Pascu to be given a Welterweight title shot.

Next up was Fabian ‘The Assassin’ Edwards, the brother of current UFC Middleweight fighter Leon ‘Rocky’ Edwards who hoped to further extend his unbeaten record of 7-0. He faced Italian-Irish adopted SBG fighter Claudio Conti. Edwards lived up to the hype, only a minute into the fight he threw a leg kick into his opponent’s side who dropped to the floor in pain, following up with body strikes before the contest was abruptly ended.
‘The Assassin’ quickly dispatched his opponent and improved his professional record to 8-0, further showing why he is one of the hottest prospects outside of the UFC. He demanded BAMMA to give him his Middleweight title shot, which surely no one can argue he doesn’t fully deserve.
